Clan warfare: Mahars clash over two-year-old theft

No case was registered and no arrests have been made yet.

SUKKUR: A man was shot dead and his sister was injured in a clash on Wednesday between two groups of the Mahar clan near Pannu Aqil. Relations between the two groups have remained tense over a two-year-old theft. After a shouting match, men from both sides drew their weapons and opened fire. As a result, Usman Mahar was killed and his sister Hakim Zadi was injured. The police took the deceased and the injured to Pannu Aqil Hospital. No case was registered and no arrests have been made yet.
