House robbery: Rs3.8 million taken away
Robbers locked the family in a room and searched the house for cash and valuables.

Robbers on Wednesday took away Rs3.8 million from a jeweller at gunpoint. Police said two unidentified men broke into the house of wholesale dealer, Muhammad Ishfaq, in Rehman Colony. They locked the family in a room and searched the house for cash and valuables. Police said they got away with Rs3.8 million. The family, somehow, freed themselves and informed the police, who looked for suspects in the area, but to no avail. In another incident, Muhammad Bilal, a resident of Model Town, was deprived of his motorcycle and mobile phone in Model Town’s B-Block by two armed men.
