Deadly feud: Three family members killed by relatives

The accused escaped before the police reached the site.

MARDAN: Three people of a family were killed by their relatives over an old enmity in Shahbaz Garhi area of the district during the early hours of Friday. Amanullah, an official of Shahbaz Garhi police said Mashal Khan, a resident of Bala Garhi, had a feud with his nephews. When Mashal Khan, along with his two sons, Jamroz Khan and Shah Faisal, were on their way to Bala Garhi to offer funeral prayers for their relative, the accused ambushed them, killing them on the spot. The accused escaped before the police reached the site. An FIR was registered by Farhat Naz Bibi, wife of the deceased Mashal Khan and the bodies were shifted to the hospital for an autopsy.
