MOROCCO: Aisamul Haq Qureshi, Pakistan’s number one tennis player and sole representative on the ATP Tour, has reached the semi-final of the Grand Prix Hassan II tennis tournament being held in Morocco.
Qureshi is partnering with Indian Davis Cup Winner Rohan Bopanna. In this match, the pair were up against German Simon Greul and Peter Luzcak of Australia.
Qureshi got the match under way, winning his service game with ease. Greul was next to serve, and won the game uneventfully.
The next two games went by with neither side threatening to break serve, and so the score was 2-2.
