KARACHI: A park constructed at the city courts complex was inaugurated by the Sindh High Court chief justice, Mushir Alam, on Saturday. With a number of swings and a water fountain, the park aims at providing a congenial atmosphere to the estranged couples and their children, who visit the courts. “The cool and peaceful atmosphere would help the children enjoy a few moments of joy,” Alam said. He also announced that similar family parks will be built at all courts of the province. In a brief chat with the press, the chief justice said that 24 judges were recently appointed to the court to accelerate the disposal of cases. He urged the lawyers and the court staff to work in collaboration to ease the problems of litigants and to ensure that disputes are resolved.
