Pick-up overturned: One killed, seven injured

DI KHAN: One person was killed and seven others were injured when a passenger pick-up turned upside down due to a burst tyre in District Tank, police official at the Saddar Police Station told The Express Tribune. The vehicle was on its way from Tank Bazzar to Gomel when the incident occurred. Four of the injured were rushed to the District Headquarter Hospital Tank, while the rest were shifted to DHQ Hospital DI Khan where one of them succumbed to his injuries. The pick-up was first used by Police, and then was purchased by a resident of the area from at auction.
