Ramazan bazaar: Unhygienic meat seized

Around 30 kilograms of the seized meat was sent to a University of Veterinary Sciences laboratory for further tests.

LAHORE: Unhygienic meat was identified and seized in the Islampura Ramazan Bazaar on Sunday. The meat was inspected by Dr Nisar of the city district government of Lahore (CDGL) who found it substandard. The vendors came together and protested loudly but were not allowed to sell the meat. Around 30 kilograms of the seized meat was sent to a University of Veterinary Sciences laboratory for further tests.
