Gunmen riding on motorcycles kill policeman in Hangu
The police personnel were on routine patrol when they were attacked.

Despite ban on pillion riding in Hangu district two unidentified men travelling on a motorbike killed a police personnel in the city on Friday.
DPO Hangu Mian Saeed Khan while talking to the media personnel said that around 8:30pm two unidentified armed men opened fire at the patrolling van of Rrescue 15 in the bazaar injuring one personnel.
Khan said that the injured personnel, identified as Khan Faraz, was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital Hangu where he succumbed to his wounds. Police set up checkpoints on routes leading to and from the bazaar to apprehend the culprits.
Earlier this April, DPO Hangu had imposed a complete ban on motorcycles in the district especially in the city of Hangu. The ban was lifted on July 15, but the same week a ban of 45 days was imposed on pillion riding.
