QUETTA: Doctors in Quetta on Tuesday ended their strike after the missing doctor of Bolan Medical College safely returned home. Unidentified armed men had kidnapped Dr Din Muhammad Bangulzai from Lak Pass area near district Mastung 10 days ago, when he was on his way to Quetta. Doctors of all Out Patient Departments (OPD) across all state-run hospitals had boycotted their duty to protest the abduction of Bangulzai. He reached home late on Monday night after his captors set him free. The strike, spanning over a week, caused severe hardships for patients, many of whom had travelled from remote areas of Balochistan for treatment.
