What happened in Sialkot on August 15 in full view of the police is truly disgusting and disturbing.

What happened in Sialkot on August 15 in full view of the police is truly disgusting and disturbing. The police in this country have, by and large, become totally ineffective due to corruption. The police in Punjab are especially known for brutality and corruption. Having said that, we have to ask ourselves why do people take the law into their own hands?
It is good that the Supreme Court has taken suo motu notice of the merciless lynching – I also hope that one day it will take note of the merciless killings of Pashtuns in Karachi.
