Safe and sound: Kidnapped surgeon returns home

Kidnappers initially demanded Rs50m ransom but after negotiations, amount brought down to Rs8m.

Kidnapped surgeon of Bolan Medical Collage (BMC) Dr Din Mohammad Bangulzai had reached his home safely on Monday night. Mastung Deputy Commissioner Irfan Shah Gharsheen confirmed the safe recovery of Dr Bangulzai and told reporters that he had reached his home late Monday evening.


The kidnappers had initially demanded Rs50 million as ransom money for his release but after negotiations, the amount was brought down to Rs8 million, family sources told reporters.

@A J Khan: Instead saying FC and police doing miserable job, instead of getting to the kidnappers they are happy to annouce he has come back on ransom, you are blaming CJ. Agencies are only picking people? has it stopped terorrism???
