House trespass: Robbery attempt foiled

Police said the two women had entered Talat Bibi’s house taking advantage of an open door.

LAHORE: Two women broke into a house in Johar Town at iftar on Friday. While one of them fled, the other was caught. They were identified as Musarrat Bibi and Hina Bibi. Police said the two women had entered Talat Bibi’s house taking advantage of an open door.  They said first the women snatched a gold chain that Talat Bibi was wearing, tookPolice said the two women had entered Talat Bibi’s house taking advantage of an open door. her purse, lying nearby, which contained Rs12,000. They said when they started tying her hands and feet, she shouted for help. Her son, Nadeem, who was upstairs, rushed down. Seeing him, the women tried to flee. While Hina Bibi managed to escape, Musarrat Bibi was caught. Investigation officer said preliminary investigation had shown that Musarrat Bibi was wife of Ishaq, a worker at Nadeem’s gold shop. He said Ishaq was already at the house when the women entered, but fled when his wife was caught.
