Cricket: Maqbool leads Brother CC to victory

Brother Cricket Club Dadu thrashed Kashmore CC by 54 runs in the 17th Dr MA Shah Night Trophy match at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium. Off-spinner Atif Maqbool and Nasir Owais bagged three wickets each.

Chasing 153, Kashmore were bowled out for 98 in 18.4 overs. Earlier, Brother Cricket Club was all out for 152 in 19.2 overs. Nooruddin scored 54 with the help of six boundaries and a six while Owais scored 26. In another match, Omar Associates defeated Wallstreet by 54 runs. Batting first, Omar Associates made 181 for five in their 20 overs with Raza scoring 51 and Sheryar Ghani 32 as he hit three fours and two sixes. Wallstreet bundled out for 127 in 16.4 overs.
