Directive: ‘Enforce ban on loudspeaker use’

FAISALABAD:
The City Police Officer (CPO) has asked all the station house officers (SHOs) to ensure implementation of ban on the use of loudspeakers during the Ramazan.
A statement released from the CPO’s office on Sunday said a recent report of law-enforcement agencies revealed that loudspeaker was still being used in some areas to propagate hate material. The directive said the station house officers concerned should ensure that no one was using loudspeakers in their areas for such purposes. It said strict action should be taken against people found indulging in the activity.
