Admissions open: AIOU opens autumn 12 applications

Admission forms and prospectuses for all programmes offered are available from the sale points at the main campus

ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has opened admissions for the Autumn 2012 semester for matric to masters level programmes in different disciplines. AIOU Admissions Director Syed Ziaul Hasnain said admission forms and prospectuses for all programmes being offered are available from the sale points at the main campus, regional campuses and coordinating offices within the country. The admission forms and prospectus for SSC, HSSC and BA level programmes for Pakistanis in the Middle East can be downloaded from www.aiou.edu.pk. (http://www.aiou.edu.pk.) Hasnain said continuing admission forms are being sent to continuing students by post at their given addresses. However, student who have not received the forms by August 1 can download them from the AIOU website or obtain them from the nearest regional office of the university and deposit in any designated bank branch by listing their registration number and cell phone number with the before August 24.
