Ramazan timings: Banks to operate from 8am to 2pm on weekdays

Banks will remain closed on July 23 for Zakat deduction.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced Ramazan timings for banks on Tuesday, Express News reported.

According to the SBP, banks will operate between 8am and 2pm on weekdays, and 8am to 12pm on Fridays.

Banks will also remain closed on July 23 for Zakat deduction.

Ramazan is expected to start around to July 21. The Central Ruet-i-Hilal committee will meet on 29th Shaban (July 20) for moon-sighting.

Lucky are those who are working back home. Outside Pakistan, specially in the West, you hardly get to have this flexibility.
