Gutted: Fire engulfs bank’s IT section
A fire broke out at the branch office of the Sindh Bank located at I I Chundrigar Road.

A fire broke out at the branch office of the Sindh Bank located at I I Chundrigar Road on Saturday afternoon. Two fire tenders were rushed to the site to extinguish the fire.
According to officials, the fire broke the in the Information Technology section of the bank, and at least 14 computers, a UPS and a CCTV camera system were destroyed in a fire. According to initial findings, the fire erupted due to a short circuit and the fire-fighters were able to extinguish it in two hours.
