Sugar: TCP buying 0.2m tons from local mills

The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has said it is procuring 200,000 tons of sugar from local mills to meet demand during Ramazan and later. Clarifying media reports which said that TCP was importing 200,000 tons of sugar, a TCP spokesperson said tenders have been awarded for procurement of sugar from domestic mills and the process is at an advanced stage.
