Medical institutions: New principals, dean appointed

Prof Anjum Habib Wohra appointed principal of PGMI and Lahore General Hospital in place of Prof Tariq Salahuddin

LAHORE: The Health Department has appointed four new heads of the Post Graduate Medical Institution (PGMI), the Fatima Jinnah Medical College (FJMC), the Institute of Public Health (IPH) and the Khawaja Safdar Medical College (KSMC), Sialkot. Prof Anjum Habib Wohra has been appointed principal of PGMI and Lahore General Hospital in place of Prof Tariq Salahuddin, who will work as professor of neurology at PGMI. Prof Fakhar Imam has been transferred from Jinnah Hospital and posted principal of Fatima Jinnah Medical College. Prof Maaz Ahmed has been transferred from King Edward Medical University and posted dean of the Institute of Public Health. Prof Nausheen was transferred from Jinnah Hospital and posted principal of Khawaja Safdar Medical College.
