Suspects in Raza Haider case arrested

Suspects belonged to the banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, arms and ammunition recovered from possession.

KARACHI: IG Sindh Sultan Salahuddin Babar Khattak on Wednesday said that people involved in the target killing of MQM MPA Raza Haider have been arrested.

While briefing the media in Karachi, IG Sindh said two suspects involved in the target killing of 11 people have been arrested from the Korangi area of Karachi, adding that the suspects belonged to the banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

He said that challaans of these criminals will be presented in court as soon as strong evidence is gathered against them.

Police recovered two Kalashnikovs, 1 pistol and other explosive material from them.

Asmat Jamal | 13 years ago | Reply We have yet to see "Suspects" arrested in murder of COMMON PAKISTANIES murdered following the death of MPA Raza Haider. Were they not human. Were they not citizens of this country. Their only fault was that they were not urdu speaking????
