Junaid achieves career-best ranking

Sangakkara returns to the top of the batsmen’s list.

Junaid Khan vaulted 17 places to 42nd, his career-best ranking, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Kumar Sangakkara reclaimed the number-one spot in the ICC Player Rankings for Test batsmen after another big century against Pakistan. Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali have made upward movements.

Dilshan moved up five places which puts him just outside the top 20 in 23rd position. Azhar’s superb century lifted him six places to 13th position while Hafeez moved up six places to 30th.
