Target killing: ANP leader gunned down in Tank

Unidentified assailants gunned down the District President of Awami National Party (ANP) Khan Gul Bittani on Tuesday, a police official said.
The official of the Saddar Police Station said that Khan was travelling home in Grah Budha from the district secretariat office, when unidentified men ambushed his vehicle and opened fire on him. He was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Tank, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The official claimed that several activists of the ANP reached the hospital to express their sorrow on the death of Bittani. His brother Dilawar Khan registered an FIR against the suspects at the police station.
