Drive-by shootings: Three Muttahida men gunned down

Two MQM supporters identified as Sarfaraz and Adil were shot dead in Ranchore Lane area.

KARACHI: At least four people including three men belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were gunned down within an hour in drive-by shootings on Tuesday night in Karachi’s Old City area and Orangi Town.

Two MQM supporters identified as Sarfaraz and Adil were shot dead in Ranchore Lane area. Police officials said that Sarfaraz’s brother Aftab was also killed in the same manner on Monday in Nabi Bux area. An MQM worker, Aleemuddin aka Papan was gunned down in Raees Amrohi Colony in Orangi Town within Iqbal Market police remits.

A little after the incident, a man, Arman Baloch was shot dead within Pakistan Bazaar police remits. Earlier in the day, five people including two Pakistan Peoples Party workers were gunned down in the city.
