Fake degrees: Reference filed against MDA former director

Reference filed against MDA former director of works for possessing fake educational documents.

MIRPUR:

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir(AJK) Ehtesab (Accountability) Bureau has filed a reference in the local accountability court against Mirpur Development Authority (MDA) former director of works, Chaudhry Mushtaq Hussain, for possessing fake educational documents.

In an official statement released to the media, the bureau maintains that the former director of works unlawfully got a job and further promotions on fake educational certificates, political influence and grafts. The statement added that the bureau has warrants to arrest the former director, who is presently absconding.

A spokesperson of the bureau said that Hussain got a job in the AJK government service on the basis of his fake educational certificates, which included a fake diploma of technical education.

He added the new reference has filed against him under the under section 36 of the Ehtesab Act 2001.
