Smooth movement: Pedestrian traffic flow in Saddar to be improved
A big piece of land had also been allotted to concerned stakeholders near Northern Bypass for 17 different projects.

The work on the project called ‘Pedestrianization of Saddar’ will start in August, said Karachi Commissioner Karachi Roshan Ali Sheikh on Wednesday.
It is aimed at ensuring smooth flow of traffic in Saddar and regulating street vendors. Talking to the media at his office he said that under the project, a big piece of land had also been allotted to concerned stakeholders near Northern Bypass for 17 different projects.
He said that 150 acres of land had also been given to KMC under warehousing scheme near Northern Bypass. The project is likely to be completed in five months.
