Sewage works: MPA directs cleaning of nullahs

KARACHI: Member Sindh Assembly (MPA), Nishat Muhammad Zia Qadri on Wednesday directed the departments concerned to remove blockages from the nullahs and sewerage lines to ensure smooth flow of sewage during the monsoon season.

Qadri said this while addressing a meeting which included officials from Shah Faisal Zone, district east. He also inspected the ongoing cleaning of nullahs in Shah Faisal Colony No 5, Green Town and Azeempura.

Those who attended the meeting were also given a detailed briefing about the arrangements to be made for the expected monsoon rain.
