Balochistan unrest: One killed, another kidnapped in Quetta

Police officials cordoned off the area and initiated a probe into the kidnapping.

QUETTA: A man was gunned down in the Faizabad area of Quetta on Saturday, according to police sources. According to officials, unidentified armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on one, Khudae Nazar, while he was on his way to the market. As a result, Nazar died on the spot.  Authorities later shifted the body to the civil hospital for autopsy. In another incident of violence in Quetta, unidentified men kidnapped one Munir Ahmed. Police officials later cordoned off the area and initiated a probe into the kidnapping.
