Rapper Megan Thee Stallion filed a cyberstalking lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz on October 30, accusing her of spreading false and defamatory statements about the rapper in relation to the Tory Lanez shooting.

In the complaint, Megan claimed that Gramz engaged in a campaign to “denigrate, belittle, insult” her.

However, Gramz is seeking to have the case dismissed.

According to AllHipHop.com, on November 26, Gramz’s legal team filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing that Megan’s claims lack solid evidence. The defense described the lawsuit as “more like a press release” than a legitimate legal complaint, asserting that it relied on “dubious legal claims” and irrelevant allegations.

Gramz’s attorneys also argued that Megan Thee Stallion’s lawsuit seeks to intimidate and silence critics, claiming it infringes on First Amendment rights. They emphasized that the lawsuit implies that merely discussing or linking to a public figure’s online posts could result in criminal or civil penalties.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion is preparing to release the music video for her collaboration with Flo Milli, ‘Roc Steady,’ on November 27.
