LAHORE: About 100 orphans studying at private schools visited the Bata shoe factory at Batapur on Thursday. Save The Deserving Children, a non-profit organisation, arranged the visit. Students expressed interest in the manufacturing procedures. Managing Director Imran Malik said that intelligent and hardworking students were the asset of the country. He stressed the need for supporting the poor and orphans in their education. Malik also distributed 90 pairs of shoes to the students.
