Monsoon season: CM gives orders to implement plan for flood prevention
Shah directed the authorities to fully equip the District Disaster Management Authorities' headquarters.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah directed all departments to implement the ‘Pre Monsoon 2012 Contingency Plan’ to prevent damages and losses caused during heavy rains and floods. He said this while presiding over a meeting to review the pre-monsoon arrangements at the Chief Minister House on Tuesday.
Shah directed the authorities to fully equip the District Disaster Management Authorities' headquarters with Abkalani material to ensure that they can immediately respond to any emergency. Tents, mosquito nets, blankets, life jackets, boats, dewatering pumps, fire brigades and ambulances should also be arranged at these places, said Shah.
