Education: PAF Lower Topa hosts parents’ day

Students performed with finesse various demonstrations, including gymnastics and martial arts shows.

Amid a smartly turned out parade and PT performances by pre-cadets, Pakistan Air Force Public School Lower Topa held its annual parents’ day on Saturday. The chief guest on the occasion, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt praised the students and faculty for performing exceptionally in curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities. He awarded prises to high achieving students. Amongst the key award winners were Abdul Mubeen Siddiqui, who was awarded Topian Tiger trophy, while Amir Wadood and Muhammad Yaqoob bagged the Topian Scholar and Top Boy trophies respectively. The Quaid-i-Azam Shield for the best all-round performance was awarded to Siraj House, also dubbed the Champion House for the year 2012. Apart from the parade, the students performed with finesse various demonstrations, including gymnastics and martial arts shows, and received much applause from the audience.
