Zahid Bukhari, Aitzaz Ahsan barred from Sindh law bars
The decision to bar the entries of Bukhari – the counsel for Malik Riaz – and Aitzaz was taken during a meeting of Sindh lawyers, organised by the Karachi Bar Association.
The Karachi Bar Association president, while announcing the decision, said that the step was taken to express support for the Supreme Court.
Earlier, Bukhari’s was also barred to enter the Lahore Bar Association. The Lahore bar had also adopted a resolution assuring its support to the Supreme Court and announced a two day boycott from the courts.

A wrong action by Bar council, to ban Aitzaz and Zahid Bukhair for doing nothing. And there was no need of it, now where are the human rigths.

Dear Sir, I for one, was all along a supporter of our CJ's method of jurisdiction, from his "Pak Steel Mill" like cases until his "Wholesale" pardons, protection and reward for the extremists by releasing them as "missing persons recovery" plan. Then came total protection by judgments like "lack-of-evidence" for people like Hafiz Saeed & Lal Masjid Clerics who's took "blood-revenge" by sending close to 30,000 innocent Pak Citizens to their deaths during the bombing in Masajids, market, shrine, schools and young cadet carrying buses. The effected clerics in their "Robe-o-Jalaal" gave the extremists full support & protection for all such killings, sadly at the cost of innocents, youths, and women.The clear signs of protection of extremism & lawlessness were already shown when our Lawyers Gave roses to the illegal assassin Mumtaz Qadri, who without the order of any Pak Court took law in his own hand and committed the crime of murder on a hear-say & "never solved" blasphemy case. Sorry but my sympathies are with the Pak Innocents and not with "not so innocent".
Certainly defending the Supreme Court is a noble aim; however, banning lawyers from entering the bars is tantamount to invading their rights. A lawyer sometimes has to defend even the worst offender--murderers, traitors, rapists, robbers, but does that mean that he should be ostracised from the lawyers' community? I am all for the SC and the CJ, but this decision has not convinced many people. Will any commentator throw some light on the rationale for this decision?
I am really disappointed by this act of the Bar Associations barring lawyers for merely representing their clients and doing nothing against lawyers showering petals on the murderer Qadri.
Every body of course has right to form and express opinion but unfortunately because of ignorance or hidden motives we mix up right and wrong to create a chaotic situation for favoring corrupt,cruel and cunning people.No body is angel,neither the Chief Justice is "Wali" but he is a beacon of light in this state of lawlessness and darkness.He is trying to deliver in the best possible way against many many odds....We must know that no civilized society or law can assign the charge of a son to his father...What my sons do and what yours do, we do not have control on them,otherwise we might have made them the best in society.Again look at the difference,many other characters are defending the wrongdoings of their sons but he neither favored Malik for so called link of his son,nor he is protecting him now.He has left him at the mercy of ruthless agencies. What else some people expect.Perhaps such people want that there is no need of clean and strong people like Chief, so that all kinds of mafias can flourish unchecked
The true face of our reactionary Bar that showers petals on murderers, prohibits consumption of soft drinks owned by oppressed religious sects, and bans senior lawyers from Bar Associations to prove their "loyalty" to the Supreme Court. Shameful and condemnable behavior.
What has triggered this? The only new thing lately has been the unmasking of Arsalan and his family. Has a lawyer ever been barred for throwing roses on a killer like Qadri? Has a lawyer ever been barred for being the stooge of martial law dictators? This is the worst kind of Mafia that has taken over all moderate forces.

Funny that no su moto has been taken on this action of Bars that incidentally helps out Arsalan by discouraging representation against him in the courts. There should be investigation as to who is guiding these Bars to do such unconstitutional actions.
AETERAZ Ahsan and ZAED Bukhari are trying to become Sharifuddin Pirzada and damaging the fabric of society. They are the ones who have no respect for any one including mother(land). Shameless characters.
Any action against the lawyers who supported Mumtaz Qadri? Ludhianvi, Hafiz Saeed, and the likes. Speak volumes about their ethics.
Why our lawyers go above and beyond their call of duty? To keep the domestic tradition alive of Threat & Coercion, extra judicial killings, Mob-Justice. We are witnessing these lawyers are no different than the martial law dictators and corrupt leaders of Pakistan. They are the same lawyers who supported extremists & bombers of innocent women & children. They consider themselves above the law and so they Threat Police for making them Chalaans for wrong driving or any illegal act they do. These lawyers gave roses to the Killer of Punjab governor, who had no Legal Job for the extreme action of murder on the basis of an unsolved mystery.These lawyers make gangs to enforce anything that can not be done legally. They even sell their clients for better paying clients in the last minute. Who cares what "Hornet Nest" bar decides. They all are part of the reason of increase in crimes against innocent citizens. If these lawyers were any hard working & honest all criminals & bombers would have been behind bars and not running around free doing their business.

Although, Aitazaz ahsan has highest reputation of being an independent minded lawyer and politician, however his allingnement with govement since becoming lawyer for PM, he has lost this credibilty as well. Riaz bukhari, seems a real biased person. but we all should try to be objective

There is no difference between the media anchors and the bar association - Both going crazy. Is there any true kind of justice - justice based on just truth for everyone either the property tycoon or the Dr. Arsalan or media person and the bar association? If bar association is so true than their actions are not hidden. Our minds are corrupt and our mental software have be set as default to be corrupt. I feel disgusted!
@KB: What did Aitzaz do? Why have we made the Chief Justice a holy cow, and anything that is pointing towards his son we are just trying to act as if his son came down from seventh heaven, and can commit no wrong. This is actually the fault which lies within the psyche of Pakistani people, we are personality worshippers and nothing more, and lawyers have become, sorry to say nothing but a bunch of mafia group, who whenever they want to start beating, policemen, politicans, even session judges, i say its down right stupid whatever the so called "bars" have done. Hoodlums, and nothing more.
If Aitzaz & Bukhari can be banned, why not the programs of Luqman & Meher Bukhari

lawyers have become nothing but less than a mafia group. It is just so down right unfafitr and sad, and nauseating to see these people, who are supposed to uphold law and ae supposed to be "educated" and "sensible" and "visionary" are acting nothing but hoodlums. What sadness and sickness is this?
@Sultan Khan: Dear don't be so emotional. Professionals are required to be very Fair, they should'nt have links or ulterior motives. Paisa he sub kuch nahi hota. The restrictions are very fair. These people would have earned a lot but to earn respect.
why the lawyers donn`t launch their own political party? what the bukhari & Aitzaz did wrong here? Just defending their clients. Is it really a crime? Then all the lawyers should be ban. Hopeless is the right word here for rest of the lawyers.
Why? What's their fault? Zahid Bokhari is merely defending Malik Riaz which is his constituional right. He is not doing anything which is against the law or constitution and hence to bar him is unconstitutional. The fault of MR.Aitezaz seems to be only that he confessed that months ago he had informed the CJ about the corruption stories of his son. Is the telling of truth a crime and against the constitution? Not at all. Hence the CJ must take suo moto notice of these illegal and unconstitutional bars otherwise it would create suspicion on the part of higher judiciary.
It's not that difficult to reach at the top, but maintaining your position there is what takes some real work - I hope this is clear to Aitzaz

This stupidity must stop, it just does not suit the people who claim to be lawyers. Anyone with any reason to associate her / himself to this noble profession should be last to behave in such intolerant manner. Don't they know they stand to ensure about 'due process' and right of an accused to be represented by a lawyer of his own choice, no one should be condemned unheard without a fair trial. You can't blame a lawyer for defending his clients, a lawyer has nothing to do with the purported crimes, any crime. A lawyer defending a murderer does not stand or should not be painted as someone encouraging murder. I suspect these people who are agitating against Aitzaza Ahsan or Bulkhari are not actually lawyers they are imposter and pretenders and must be themselves taken to task by the law.
Great news.........All other BARS should also ban them
