Olympics: Opening act to depict ‘British countryside’

The opening ceremony of the Games will see the Olympics Stadium transformed into the ‘British countryside’, according to the BBC. ”The best way to tell that story is through working with real people from the countryside," stated artistic director Danny Boyle. “The ceremony will be a picture of ourselves as a nation."
