Six armed robbers tried to intercept the bus headed for Bahawalnagar and opened fire at it

OKARA: Two men were killed and another suffered bullet wounds in a robbery attempt on a passenger bus on Bali Mor-Haveli Road late Sunday night. Police identified the deceased as Asghar Ali and Haider Ali and the injured as Muhammad Nadeem. They said six armed robbers tried to intercept the bus headed for Bahawalnagar and opened fire at it when the driver refused to stop. The robbers later fled the scene.
