Couple killed over love marriage

The couple married eight months ago against the will of their families.

KARACHI: A newlywed couple was murdered by the brother of the bride, in Shujabad, who later surrendered himself to the police, Express News reported on Friday.

Nazia and Mubashir from Shujabad, eloped and got married eight months back.

Nazia’s parents had registered a case of kidnapping against her husband at City Police Station, Shujabad.

The couple visited the bride’s sister’s house, where her younger brother Jahanzaib killed the couple. He later called 15 and surrendered to the police.
