6 killed in Hyderabad coach accident

Accident occurred as the coach was speeding due to which it overturned and after several flips got onto another track.

HYDERABAD: Six people were killed and more than thirteen were injured after a speeding passenger coach met with an accident in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Express News reported. 

The coach was traveling from Rawalkot to Karachi when the accident took place in front of Chalgari police station, near Hatri bypass.

The accident occurred as the coach was speeding due to which it overturned and after several flips, it got onto another track.

As a result of this accident, six people were killed on the spot, while more than thirteen are said to be injured. Moreover, the CNG cylinder broke into pieces and was found scattered on the road.

Edhi ambulances and police reached the accident site shortly. Bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital.

The deceased include two men, two women and two children. One of the women was identified as Shakila, from Mansehra.

According to the passengers, the accident happened due to the careless attitude of the bus driver, who was said to be over speeding and using a mobile phone while driving.
