Sighs of relief: KU declares BCom part II results

KARACHI: The Karachi University declared the results for BCom Part-II annual examinations 2011 on Sunday. Of the 24,010 candidates who registered for the exams, 22,906 appeared in them.

According to a KU notification, 1,170 candidates achieved first division, 3,768 second division and four candidates third division. Meanwhile, 17,694 candidates failed in the examinations and the pass percentage stood at 21.58 per cent. Shaheed-e-Millat Govt. Degree College for Women, Azizabad’s Tahreem Altaf, daughter of Mohammad Altaf, roll no. 276231, clinched the first position by securing 848 marks out of 1,100.
