Tragedy: Two friends drown in Ghazi Barotha

Both bodies were fished out by local divers after a three-hour search.

HARIPUR: Two boys drowned in Ghazi Barotha barrage on Saturday afternoon. According to the Ghazi police, two friends from village Aldho were bathing in the barrage when one of them, Kamran (son of Abdul Qadir), fell into deep waters. Upon seeing him drowning, Zubair (son of Muhammad Bashir), jumped in to save his friend but also drowned in the process, eyewitnesses corroborated. Both bodies were fished out by local divers after a three-hour search.
