Nawab Akbar Bugti murder case: Former CM gets bail before arrest
His lawyer, Muhammad Farooq, argued before the chief justice of the Sindh High Court that Jam Yousuf has been shown as an absconder in the charge sheet that was submitted to an anti-terrorism court. He was charged with abetting the murder of the chief of the Bugti tribe.
Nawab Akbar Bugti was also a former governor and chief of the Jamhoori Watan Party. He was killed in 2006.
Nawab Bugti and Jam Yousuf belonged to two different political cults and thus have deep-rooted political differences, which is why the nawab’s heirs implicated Yousuf, his lawyer argued.
Jam Yousuf is in Dubai but wants to return to Pakistan and surrender as a law-abiding citizen and as he was not involved in any military action that culminated in the death of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.
The bench granted him bail for Rs0.5million for ten days starting from when he lands anywhere in Sindh.
Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed in an operation by the military in August 2006. President Pervez Musharraf is the main accused in the case that was registered on a complaint filed by Talal Akbar Bugti, the nawab’s eldest son. His body was not handed over to the family for burial and only a wristwatch and some other belongings were turned over to them. The nawab was allegedly buried in Dera Bugti in the presence of a few officials, including the then DCO of Dera Bugti, Abdul Samad Lasi, who is also on the run.

Granting bail to the Jam and thus enabling him to surrender to the court may be a blessing in disguise for the Baloch cause. The former elected CM of Balochistan may tell the court how crimes against the Baloch were committed directly by Musharraf and Islamabad sidelining the elected Balochistan Provincial Government. If so, Balochistan will forgive Jam Saheb for remaining in the government silently.
@Raza Murad suicide ?? haha , is it some novel or science fiction ? Concepts like suicide do not exist in a balochs dictionary dear ! The tribal elder was assassinated in a cold blood rivalry !! first he was asked for a peace talk and later attacked by the Mercenary forces .

Tribal systems existed much before the constitution and Pakistan .. When illegitimate politicians can have a army of guards from taxpayers money , why not tribals who can afford it ?? Not only affording but its a necessity !!
@Shahryar Ahmed: Similarly, Hurriyat leaders in Indian Kashmir are waging war against India- but alas, Indian Govt spends millions of rupees to provide them 'Y+' category security. They are so lucky to be in India that they are not wiped out like Bugti!
There was no murder.
This man Bugti killed 10-12 army officers while committing a suicide.
@Mazari Baloch: Thousands of military operation were conducted and many more are still going on in KPK against the militants,millions of pushtoons compelled as IDPs does it means that we all the pushtoons take weapons against our own Armed Forces No never it happens in KPK nor it will happen in future coz we have 100 % faith on Armed forces I am sure that majority of Baluch , Pushtoons and Hazara are patriotic except few sardars and their slaves Pakistan Zinda Bad
@Mazari Baloch:Constitution of Pakistan does not allow a citizen to keep an "army" to fight against the state institutions. Period.

How this can be a murder, this mad man was wagging a war against Pakistan, Pak Army & the interests of Pakistan.
Can someone please tell me, why did he have any army of men with military grade weapons?
