Travelling, especially a world tour, gives you freedom of mind and heart. You see the remarkable aspects of nature and it helps widen your vision.
These views were expressed by novelist and travelogue writer Farooq Khalid in the programme, “Pictorial account of travels” organised by Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL).
PAL Director Muhammad Asim Butt briefed participants about Khalid’s works.
He said that photography is a dimension of Khalid that is new to many of his readers.
After a detailed session with participants Khalid screened photographs through a projector. Khalid said he drove his jeep when travelling and has seen more than 65 countries so far.
He added that travelling is not a recreation but on some occasions a life-threatening experience.
