KARACHI: The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has added a new regulation in the application form for people applying for a new computerised national identity card (CNIC) under the directives of the Supreme Court. It is now mandatory for Hindu women to submit an affidavit as proof of marriage. If the woman is married, then the applicant’s husband will also have to sign the affidavit.
