Violation: Cases registered for illegal wheat sale

FAISALABAD: Police on Saturday registered a case against six men for violating a ban on the sale of wheat sale tokens to non-growers. Middlemen have been banned from purchasing tokens during the current wheat procurement campaign. Assistant Commissioner (AC) City Anwar Jappa led the rain in which six men, including five wheat growers and a middleman violating the ban were arrested. A case was registered against Zahid Husain of Chak 78-GB, Allah Ditta of Chak 79-GB, Fazal Muhammad of Chak 84-GB, Razzaq Ali of Chak 79-GB and Nasrullah of Chak 81 GB for selling their tokens to a Noor Ali, dealer.
