Elahi was speaking during a protest rally in Rawalpindi against the energy crisis.
PML-Q had also threatened to quit the ruling coalition if the government doesn’t halt massive power outages. “Load-shedding has disturbed the country enormously,” PML-Q Senator Kamil Ali Agha had said.
Elahi also criticised the Punjab government during his address, saying that “the Sharif brothers play politics of revenge.”
Lashing out at Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Elahi accused him of indulging in corruption worth Rs34 billion through the 18 portfolios he holds.
“Millions of rupees have been wasted in the Sasti Roti Scheme,” he added.

Mr. Pervaiz Elahi have you any support in the whole country?
no truth - passing time - gaining more benefits.
Q league has no choice except to stay Behind PPP, and keep on Apple polishing. PPP can any time get rid of you, so please keep your mouth shut and obey the boss.
Clearly Q league is seeing a downfall of PPP in the coming elections, hence they are planning to part ways with them gradually. Making excuses like asking the government to solve energy crises, when they are a part of the government themselves. With PML Like Minded , joining hands with PML-N , Chaudharies are feeling the heat and are feeling deserted , along with damaging their identity as a political force in Punjab , by joining hands with PPP. Wrong political moves like these have led to their isolation and most likely we wont see them winning any seats in the future.
Really!
i really liked the formula presented by Ch Shujaat! very practical.. CM punjab should stop fooling people n agree to it.. also if PML Q really wants to leave coalition it should talk with other allies of govt n pressurise govt together with them
yes it is late.. but I welcome some words of sanity at least. You guys were best then but turning to be worst now
They can not escape from Z trap now.
Q Leaguers - zara sabar kar lethay. Without Musharraf you could never have walked the corridors of power. You never supported him in his bad times. Never came forward and defended him. We are all watching you guys with dismay.
Had you loved Pakistan you should have stayed with Musharraf. Supported him fully and now could have been your chance again. Instead of the two options we would have a third option. The two each got chance twice and failed miserably both times. The third chance came PPP's way they badly blew it.
How I wish Q had remained intact waited for their time and was there today to lead Pakistan to a brighter future. Now don't all remember Musharraf days? Choudhry Bros. - guys without intellect. Ab bhee der naheee huvee.
Join hands with Musharraf collect all the disgruntled elements and give a fight at the polls. Analyse you will see in most seats Q had lost only marginally. I appeal to Kashmaila to take the lead and bring the flock together. Only a young one like she can rise above self and do something big. I have lost faith in most oldies.
Q leaguers............its too little too late. U just want to raise ur price while trying to save ur face at the sametime. Ur politics seem to be doomed..........first u claimed that u will get musharaf elected 10 times in uniform and then u supported za5rdari.
