Four-Day Exhibition: Women showcase handicrafts
A fine collection of traditional dresses, ornaments and handicrafts were displayed to attract customers.
PESHAWAR:
The Women Business Development Centre launched a four-day exhibition on Thursday. The aim of the project was to showcase women’s arts and craft work and to promote the area’s rich culture. Women entrepreneurs from across the province were present on the occasion. A fine collection of traditional dresses, ornaments and handicrafts were displayed to attract customers. Participants at the exhibition said that it was a good platform for the new entrepreneurs. They said the women in this area are talented, but need a platform to exhibit their work. In order to motivate young entrepreneurs, senior businesswoman Nasreen Ali shared her personal experiences.
