Seeking Justice: Brigadier Ali Khan challenges court martial
An army brigadier facing court martial for allegedly being a member of banned Hizbut Tahrir (HuT) organization and encouraging army persons to join the outfit has raised objections to the formation of the court meant to hear his case.
Brigadier (retd) Ali Khan, through his lawyer, Colonel (retd) Inam ur Raheem, in an application filed with Lahore High Court (LHC) stated that the five member trial court had not been convened in accordance with the rules of Pakistan Army Act.
Justice Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmed of the LHC issued notices to the defence secretary for May 14 as next date of hearing.
Brigadier Ali has maintained that according to the Pakistan Army Act, a charge sheet needs to be prepared against the accused person and it is then presented before the convening authority, the area corps commander.

Almost 100year has gone since the end of khilafat.The Islamic world last century is no different than the 13th century crisis where the mongols and tartarians overwhelmed the muslims rulers.

@Abdullah To change the system, you guys have to change your self. i live in a small Island once there was electric brake down for 4 hrs. next day Mater was discussed in the Parliament an alternate source was arranged for feature. Any planned maintains work of electricity. tuck generator is provided by the electric company for apartment buildings Everyone pay electric bill on time never hard of electric theft. Water 24 hrs tap running. Water Bill Pk RS 150 per toilet every three months. character of ordinary public.: Most of work places Friday lunch break is 3 hrs.( one hrs for Friday prayer for Muslims) But Muslims on their free will every Friday go home One hr late. According to them prayer time is your own time,you cannot pray in company time. There are lot of bars and night clubs,but you will not find any Muslim inside those bars. They are simple poise Muslims. follow the basic Islam. No Mullah with a danda

You have 22 hours of loadshedding, your more then 70% population lives in ghettos with no supply of clean food and water and forget electricity. I'm sure the definition of extremism that the Prophet (SAW) was referring to is greatly different to meaning it has today. Kayani and civilian traitor rulers have descended to filthy tactics to stop the sincere Muslims striving towards resumption of Islamic state.....Only way to change subservience to colonialist US and regain independence for Pakistan is to change of corrupt system....how long will Western backed tyrants escape their fate?

What's wrong with the type of government run by Caliph Omar (Allah be pleased with him) and other Rashida Caliphs, including Omar bin Abdul Aziz. There was so much peace and harmony and equal justice for all, unlike your present government where PM and peon are treated differently when justice is done.
Extremism has no place in Pakistan army. We already have extreme corrupt civilian government, Than a army brigadier wants Khalifa type government, wants to go back to the 6th century. What is going on in Pakistan. If this guy is guilty send him to gallows, so no one else wants to fallow his footsteps.
