Will quit politics if corruption evidence presented: Shahbaz Sharif
Hinting at the interior minister, Sharif said that if the “IG of liars” gives any evidence which proves the involvement of him or the Sharif family in corruption cases, then he will not only “tender resignation from the responsibility of chief minister Punjab” but also leave politics.
Malik had claimed that the government was set to file a reference to the National Accountability Bureau against the Sharif family in various corruption cases, and had claimed that he had evidence that the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz leaders had siphoned off public funds worth $32 million.

Why are people quoting computer spec superiority for brands that for the most part only throw their brand name on it plus additions of extremely annoying, unnecessary software clutter that is best to just format and reinstall the the operating system right after the purchase? They even use hardware manufactured by people other than themselves for the most part as well. The only thing their name touches on the hardware is usually a single dumb drivers disc with a bloated install for that 3rd party hardware that could also be done away with.
@Imran: I agree with Mr Hasan Awan as regards specs and credibility of Dell. I work for a Canadian IT firm and we have been using Dell Latitudes ever since since we switched from Toshiba Satellites back in 2004.
However, the specs for the laptops distributed are regrettable. 4GB RAM + 500 GB HD should have been the minimum specs even for students. Very soon those students will have to upgrade RAM at their own expense owing to slowness.
Where's ISI's team of setup artists when you need them? Oh. Right. Giving massages and sweet talk to DPC and the like.
Shabaz Sharif is a totally corrupt man he not only accepts bribes but is also in the habit of bribing other people.he is an expert in buying politicians also.In the famous by election of N.A.99 in 1990 I was an officer of the Lahore district administration.If there is a judicial enquiry I can name the politicians and the exact amounts for which they were bought to withdraw from the elections in favour of P.M.L.N.cadidate Ch.Zulfiqar.Ican also name the D.C. Lahore who was the go between.He would never resign even if he is sent to jail for corruption.
This guy is not man of his words, the only way to put him out of office is through vote.

Sir I have a Lenovo Ideapad Y560p and it was the cheapest and best laptop in its class, easily outplaying Dell, HP etc. Please don't be an internet bully if you have zero technical knowledge.
@Hasan Awan: I totally agree with you. As 15 year ago I was busy designing Power supply for IMac. From last year I start watching Mr. Lucman show on internet. I think he is like FOX channel for PTI. He don't feel shame for lying or exaggerating thing in favor or IK or deadly against Sharif brothers. If you watch his last year show he was asking different personality "Will Pakistan exist in 2012" like four or five days in row. Most of time he is trying to install fear in the mind of his audience. Cut & run questioning of guest is good for rating or yellow journalism than debating unbiased opinion for healthy information. In other word if Rehman Malik or Mr. Lucman has any evidence than they should approach the court or should be held accountable for abetting corruption. Court should also summon them for the same reason. Waving paper on TV screen is not enough. You guys should watch Indian channel how they go after corruption. They don't let it go until accused end up in jail

@Hasan Awan: The question is not Dell versus other brands. Dell itself does not regard these cheap models as top amongst their own line. And come on please! 2GB RAM, 250GB hard disk Core Duo, does not look like a decent laptop.
Besides, you totally missed Luqman's point. It is the price gouging done by the business associate of Hamza Shahbaz, that is sickening to its core. And where is the external audit. And Hassan Nisar nailed it totally.
@Hasan Awan: The sheer fact that most (both govt and private) schools, universities, agencies and companies in US pick Dell over any other brands proves your point. Moreover, I think Dell was a good choice since it's in line with industry norms and standards whereas had he picked Acer, people would've called this move a cheap ripoff.
@HRK: Yes i missed the point about Ubuntu Platform. Ubuntu and Fedora are widely used platforms and they are free and open source and there is no problem of piracy in this case at all but since Pakistani people dont know that so our Anchor exploit this info as well.
I request everyone who have sometime to learn about Open Source Operating systems as it is a good information for Pakistani Students and IT professionals as well.

I am a big fan of Lucman and by far am not a supporter of PML-N but I'd still say that the first ten minutes regarding technical details were extremely hard to digest and I was disgusted by that type of reporting. It would've been helpful had they consulted an IT professional to confirm their findings. While i3 is better than dual core, it's nowhere near 400 times better. Also, 15 years ago I got my first PC that was a 386 so that 15 years old technology claim was just outright example of sheer stupidity. Even funnier was the fact that Windows on those laptops are not genuine and Punjab Gov't could get in hot water for that matter. Well guess what, they're Linux powered laptops running Ubuntu and I know that for a fact because someone in my family was awarded one =)
@Hasan awan, I am an IT professional and I completely agree with you. Core I family is better than dual core, but anchor exaggerated and twisted facts.
Also, why not someone take these facts and go to court against SS? As matter of fact, SS is widely recognized in Punjab for his relief work in flood operations, work against dengue and in improving education and roads. I don't know why we don't appreciate good things in our political inclinations. I am an IK fan but I respect SS for his dedication.

These guys are too smart to leave a paper-trail of their misdeeds. The AZ/BB case only came to light because their "agent" spilled the beans. I can only guess that he did that in a fit of anger at not being paid his dues or not being paid enough. If that had not happened, we would have never known. These white-collar criminals are excelllent at hiding their stuff and they have great lawyers..

@Hammad: Transparency Int has already written letter to Punjab govt accepting they dont see any corruption in laptop scheme. plus, read the agreement punjab govt had with dell or atleast letter that Transparency int wrote...................Plus, The COST of laptops is Inclusive of: total price in inclusive of a backpack, air shipping, pre-shipment inspection, extended warranty for a period of 15 months, storage and inland transportation charges and delivery to educational institutions throughout Punjab.
The real face is exposed, on due time.
When was there a conviction for corruption in court of a senior political leader in Pakistan? This is not much of a threat.
However Rehman Malik should either put up or be quiet. It is a very serious accusation and if he has a case then please start proceedings. Otherwise, his statement has no merit
