Student affairs: Harassment case against five

Alpa police registered a kidnapping case against 15 members of the Peoples Student Federation.

MULTAN: City police on Tuesday registered a case against five activists of the Islami Jamiat Talaba for allegedly issuing death threats to Arif Hussain, a student of Bahauddin Zakariya University. The FIR has been registered by Alpa police under Section 25-D of the Telegraph Act. Also on Tuesday, Alpa police registered a kidnapping case against 15 members of the Peoples Student Federation. Zakaullah, a BZU student, said in his compalint that he was kidnapped by PSF men, including PSF president Rana Javed, last Friday. He said they took him to an unknown location, stripped him and brutally tortured him. He also said the university administration was threatening disciplinary action against him for taking the matter to the police.  BZU resident officer rejected the charge as baseless.
