On the run for six months: Murder suspects arrested

The two men were declared proclaimed offenders after killing Nasir Masood during a clash between two groups.

ISLAMABAD: The city police on Sunday arrested a man and his son wanted for the last six months in a murder case. Akbar Khan and Kamoos Khan were declared proclaimed offenders after killing Nasir Masood near Khanna Dak during a clash between two groups. A case was registered against them in August last year. Police said the two would be sent to jail and produced before a court for hearing. Meanwhile, the Tarnol police arrested three suspects and recovered fake driving licenses and a stolen car from their possession. One suspect, Muhammad Jahangir, was carrying fake driving licenses issued by Lahore Traffic Police. The police seized two pistols from Bilal and Khizar Abbas and also recovered a stolen Suzuki Mehran from their possession. The car was stolen from Garhi Shahu in Lahore.
