KARACHI: The Crime Investigation Department claimed to have arrested three men from the banned Peoples Amn Committee and seized one light machine gun, six Kalashnikovs, five hand grenades, two G-3 rifles and five TT pistols from them. The suspects were identified as Hassan alias Pappu Kania, Mushtaq Pathan and Abid. While speaking at a press conference at the Anti-Extremism Cell on Friday, SSP Chaudhry Aslam Khan said that the suspects were arrested from Shah Baig Lane and were wanted in over 55 murder, attempted murder and kidnapping cases.
