Pending decision: Sheikhupura DCO summoned
Sheikhupura district government yet to decide whether to demolish house located within the Data Shah Kamal graveyard.

The Lahore High Court has summoned Sheikhupura district coordination officer (DCO), on April 24, in a contempt petition filed by a gravedigger. Falak Sher, the petitioner, has submitted that the Sheikhupura district government has yet to decide whether or not to demolish his house located within the Data Shah Kamal graveyard. He told the court that he had challenged the demolition before the LHC in 2011, which had directed the government to make a decision based on merit within a month.
